Quasar Gold Corp, located in Fort Collins, Colorado, is exploring potential placer mines in Alaska with the intention of acquiring leases on mineral rich properties and bringing in mining operators to extract the minerals.

Quasar executed an Exploration Agreement with Option to Purchase with a mining company near the Fairbanks and is pleased to announce that exploration of this property identified land rich in gold that can be mined for at least ten seasons. The exploration team dug trenches in 40 locations extracting samples from the pay zone and bedrock. After reducing the samples to concentrates and panning, the head of the exploration team heralded the findings as some of the best gold he’s seen. The Company is also evaluating one other working mine for near-term acquisition.
